Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer

After two and a half years of resistance, I actually read the books. I'd gotten it for Christmas 2009 and didn't want to read it. When I began I couldn't put it down. I can relate to Bella, a clumsy, smart 17 year old. The Cullen coven takes interest in her, not as food, but as family. The Quileute wolves also befriend her, and Jacob Black falls for Bella, who still loves Edward Cullen. For people who like romance and action. My favorite character is Alice Cullen , because she is hilarious, friendly, and protective.
Bar Code Tattoo and Bar Code Rebellion by Suzanne Weyn

A law enforces that 17 year olds must get tattoos that contain their entire history(DNA, family, health, etc.). The world changes with this law and tattoos linked to Global-1 infuriate some and help others. Global-1 uses the tattoos to harm, herd, control, and pursue people. +Some friends turn into foes. Trust is almost completely useless with spies and lures lurking about. Clones find out more about themselves. I enjoy the part where KM-6 saves the day. I feel sorry for the clones, all six introduced in the book.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan is a series containing Greek mythology with a modern twist. He is very accurate on the mythology. My favorite book in the series is book 2, The Sea of Monsters, because old stories build up to the horrid truth and give trust an expanded meaning.

Since I can't seem to start talking about the books, I've gotten my Grandma into it. So here, as promised to Soccerstar and Grandma, Every Thing In The Series.
The Series:
  1. The Lightning Thief
  2. The Sea of Monsters
  3. The Titan's Curse
  4. The Battle of the Labyrinth
  5. The Last Olympian

The Extras:

  • The Lightning Thief movie
  • The Demigod Files
  • Percy Jackson: The Ultimate Guide

The Next Series: Camp Half Blood - YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait for the sequel series to come out October 12, 2010.

About me

I live about 30 miles from school and wanted a way to discuss books with friends and others. I 'm an avid reader, constantly picking up new reads. Books always let me escape into the characters' world.
